Our History
Suozzo, Doty & Associates, Professional Engineering, PLLC (SDA) was originally founded in 2017 as Kathleen Suozzo, Professional Engineering, PLLC, (KSPE), by Kathleen Suozzo, PE, a 40-year veteran of the engineering industry. Kathleen has since been joined by Sean Doty, PE, LEED AP, CPMSM, Khar Suozzo, PE, MBA and Mark Suozzo, PE as principals of the firm.
We are a NYS Certified Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) that provides full-service civil and environmental engineering services to the public, private and non-profit sectors, from our offices in Bolton Landing and Lake Placid, New York. While we provide all facets of civil and environmental engineering services, including water, wastewater, stormwater, site, facility, structural and transportation services to our clients, we have special expertise in serving government (local, regional and state) entities with their broad initiatives. Through our services, we demonstrate our commitment to our communities and contribute to a sustainable future.

With offices in the Adirondacks of New York, we have ample opportunity to explore everything the region offers. Whether it is hiking, boating, camping, or biking, our staff enjoy spending time outdoors! We also enjoy visiting many of our regional cultural and historic attractions.
We are a group of volunteers who enjoy giving back! Many of our staff are part of local volunteer organizations. Suozzo, Doty & Associates as a firm has also provided pro bono services and continues to provide financial support to many causes.
